It all started out mid-way through 2000 when Col asked his mate Alex if he would like a jamming session in the school music room. Alex then asked Dave if he wanted to join in. Dave asked Cy if he would like to play bass with them . Cy agreed. After a while they thought "lets form a band" so they did. Alex left so Dave decided to teach himself guitar and singing. Now all they needed was a name. Cy's younger brother, Keyon came up with the name niXon, after the American president. Cy liked the name and asked Col and Dave if they liked it. They did so they now had everything a band needs apart from songs

nixon's first song had no name and after a while they trashed it as it was rubbish. Their second song, easy is much different to the one with no name. Fans have rated it as being one of their best so far. nixon have lots of other fantastic hits. To find out more, visit discography.
